News from the Waterhole

Just a quick missive to inform our pards ‘bout some impendin’ changes here at the DHR site.

You likely noticed that our forums have been as useful as a stool with two legs these past few fortnights. We figured it made more sense to re-build completely with some newfangled technology.

Sometime in the next week or so you’ll see a new look, new features, new forums—well, the whole shootin’ match.

P.S. Come ‘round soon to see the new digs and say howdy.

DHR Releases Frontier Towns: Fort Griffin Vol. 3

The Dog House Gang is proud to announce the release of the third volume in the Frontier Towns product line.

Frontier Towns: Fort Griffin Vol. 3 is available now at RPGNow and soon at e23. Like the other Frontier Towns products, Vol. 3 will sell for a paltry $6.75. That’s ‘bout the same as some of those highfalutin cups of coffee.

P.S. The 50% off sale on Sidewinder: Recoiled ends on 7/30/06.

DHR Corrals 2006 ENnie Nomination

For the third year runnin’ DHR has received a nomination in the ENnie Awards! As always, we’re plumb honored to be recognized.

This year’s nominee is Six-Guns: The James-Younger Gang, in the category of Best Free Product.

I reckon my favorite thing about this year’s nomination is that this product is FREE. Just click here to visit RPGNow, download your copy and enjoy! Iffin’ you like it, you can cast your vote for DHR and we’d be right obliged.

To celebrate, the Dog House Gang is offering the 2004 ENnie Gold Award Winning Sidewinder: Recoiled at half-price from 7/17/06 to 7/30/06. It’s the product that started it all, yours now at 50% off.

You can learn more about the ENnies by clickin' this here link. See all the nominees and learn how to cast your votes.

P.S. The Dog House Gang is still aimin’ to release Frontier Towns: Fort Griffin Vol. 3 in early August! So stick close, pardner.

News from the Waterhole

I reckon it’s time for another update about the status of Frontier Towns: Fort Griffin Vol. 3.

This time it’s happy news. We’re fixin’ to release Vol. 3 early in August 2006!

Now, I know it’s been a long time comin’. The Dog House Gang ain’t too keen on rushin’ a product to market iffin it ain’t up to snuff. We had several challenges over the last few months that we had to overcome.

As it stands, we’ve taken care of everythin’ except the finishin’ touches. That Silent Keesler fellah is cleanin’ up the final proof and we’ll take one more gander to make sure it’s all done according to Hoyle.

My next update should be the official-like release statement. Come back ‘round before the end of July.

P.S. Like the other Frontier Towns products, Vol. 3 will sell for a paltry $6.75.

News from the Waterhole

I reckon it’s a might obvious, but worth a mention: the Dog House Rules user forums have temporarily gone up the flume.

We’re aimin’ to restore them to full vitality, but it’s gonna take a little time. See, Knucklehead Spakes is takin' his 7th vacation in the last several moons, and he’s the gang’s official-like webmaster.

Iffin’ you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to send us a direct email. You can find our addresses on our "About" page. Don’t fret, we won’t e-bite you . . . well, shoot, perhaps I shouldn’t speak for the whole gang as far as that goes.

P.S. Our proofreadin’ and clean-up of Frontier Towns: Fort Griffin Vol. 3 is movin' along. I’ll give you some news in a fortnight or so.
